Living in Ezine means waking up happy with its clean air, continuing life among the sounds of birds, cooling off in the turquoise sea, and ending the day with conversations in friendly meetings in the evening with a light breeze.
GEOGRAPHY
Ezine is located in the plain irrigated by the old Menderes Stream. The Menderes Stream originates from the northern slopes of the Ida Mountains and after irrigating the Ezine plain, it flows into the Dardanelles in the north-west direction of the district. In the beautiful Ezine, where summers are hot and winters are mild and rainy, the coastal town life still continues.
Since large areas on the coast are covered with olive trees, there is a high rate of olive production. Ezine is a district that is remembered for its cheese and has become a brand. The fact that the port where sea transportation with Bozcaada is provided is located in Ezine is one of the factors that make this district special.

Neandria on the borders of Ezine was settled in the Archaic and Classical periods, and Alexandria Troas in the Hellenistic and Roman Periods.
During the Danişmentoğulları period, Ezine was conquered and joined the Turkish lands. There is a rumor that the original name of the Great Mosque, which was built for the Turkish Beys who came to the region to pray on fridays en masse, was the Cuma Mosque and since the Persian equivalent of the word ” Cuma” is “Azine”, there is a rumor that the name of the city has been pronounced as “Ezine”. After the establishment of the Ottoman Empire, Ezine, which passed to the Ottoman lands in 1361 with Murad I in the first years of the Ottoman Empire, became a district in 1886 while it was connected to Biga Sanjak.

One of the most important touches awaiting new residents at Ecoezine is undoubtedly the ecological art workshops, also known as Land Art. It is a symbolic nature art field with an activist approach that deals with the earth, space and conceptual events.
In this type of art, works created from ice, leaves, tree branches, flowers, grasses and various things found in nature, which are artistic pieces created by mother nature herself, are exhibited in the natural area. You can learn a new art form in the workshops designed at Ecoezine, accompanied by art consultants.

Developing innovative applications for the increasing consumption products of our age in natural ways is becoming a necessity in line with the principle of sustainability. The materials to be used by EKMAS Investment in the architectural design and social areas of Ecoezine will be produced from organic materials that will contribute to the ecological balance.
Local shopping centers, workshops and housing will be designed in close proximity to preserve private space, creating a compact environment, saving energy, reducing the need for natural resources and lowering carbon dioxide emissions. Wastewater such as rainwater will be designed to be used for garden irrigation by utilizing the necessary infrastructure.
